ARRANGEMENTS
Congratulations! You are embarking on the wonderful journey of raising children in the Faith and the first step of that journey is baptism!
To arrange for your infant child’s Baptism, please email the Parish Secretary or call 410-489-7667. Preparation classes are held in person or by Zoom as arranged between you and a member of the pastoral team. Godparents should also attend these sessions or the equivalent at their own parish.
Godparents must be fully initiated (Baptized, Confirmed and 1st Eucharist), at least 16 years old and an active member of a parish . If your chosen Godparents attend a parish other than St. Michael, please have them contact their parish for a Letter of Good Standing. The letter(s) can be sent to St. Michael Catholic Church (attn. Parish Secretary) or emailed to the Parish Secretary.
Please print and fill out a Baptism Registration Formbefore the preparation class and email it to the Parish Secretary.
If you have been asked to be a Godparent for a baptism at another parish, please fill out a Letter of Good Standing / Sponsor Certificate and return it to our office. We will mail it to the parish of baptism or give it directly to you once it’s signed by Fr. Paul.
